A woman from Heerhugowaard (the Netherlands) is suing the Linnaeushof playground in Bennebroek for 11,000 euro after an accident in which her headscarf got entangled in one of the machines.

The woman who died in Australia (not in Sydney) was not wearing a burkha. She was wearing a hijab. I suspect the Daily Mail used the word "burkha" because their readers are too uneducated to know what a hijab is, plus burkha sounds more Taliban.

Anyway, with the number of incidents around the world the people who operate go kart tracks are going to have to be more careful about what they allow. There have been other cases involving non-Muslims wearing scarves. They should post Isadora Duncan's autopsy pics at every go kart track.

Really was that Hijab? Every news clip says Burkha.. Well the damn thing equally or more dangerous if it is stuck in power vehicles

I think banning the Hijab would be stupid. Its just a scarf, plus you can still see their face. Besides, if Hijabs are banned, than Nuns can't cover themselves up anymore as well.

Can't they just realize its the fact that you have the woman covered obsessively head to toe that is the issue in this accident? How do afghan women not trip constantly when wearing them. If I had a sheet over my head while walking and only a tiny slit that was in front of the eyes (yet like looking through a tiny net), I'd be expecting an accident to be waiting to happen.

banning anything is silly, as long as it is not public and personal hazard and public nuisance, Ban the damn thing in public specially kids on these Park rides or in high speed open vehicles where it can stuck to something and kill the person instantaneously or cause an accident to kill bystanders ., Ban it for nuns and ban on Muslims at some places.

In these modern times with high speed public trains., people have enough trouble with clothing with drawstrings, and book bags with straps catching in the handrails or doors of train. Stupid Islam adds another killing method for women folk on top of all that with this silly dress code.

Ban..Ban..Ban.. Put on the damn things inside homes or in some functions.. Not every day in and day out..
