    You don't own the truth. You could be wrong.

    Nobody owns the truth. What we have is best guesses about the truth. And what we should do is keep all our best guesses on the table, ready to be criticized, ready to be revised, ready to be replaced by even better guesses. And in this way, we get ever closer to the truth.

    Thoughts?

    Somebody could have the truth, but only by luck.
    Nobody can be sure that they have the truth.
     To be more precise, nobody can have a good reason to be sure that they have the truth (but many are sure anyway)
