  • Hello!
     OP - August 30, 2010, 05:00 AM

Hi, I am a 17 year old atheist from Canada. My friend Diem showed me this forum, and it is very interesting so I decided to join. I am not an ex-Muslim but religion is very interesting to me. One thread in particular made me join, that debated the reason why Western women convert into Islam, it was very fascinating! I hope you will all welcome me to your forum Smiley Keep up the interesting discussions.  thnkyu -Pec

    Welcome!

So, what made you choose to be an atheist?

I don't come here any more due to unfair moderation.

I was never Muslim, my family is Catholic. :p

    Welcome!

So, what made you choose to be an atheist?

I made that decision pretty early. My family is Catholic and every time we did something religious I always had thoughts at the back of my mind that this was ridiculous. I think I accepted Atheism around 4 years ago when I was 13 from reading some persuasive stuff on the internet.

    Thanks guys!

    Welcome

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

     Greetings

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I remain.
