Hello Candu! Welcome to the forum. Here's your parrot!  parrot

How long have you been an ex-Muslim for? I think that's great all your friends know about it, but about your parents, many people here are in the same predicaments too.  Cry How did your friends take it? We have quite a few Indonesians here too.

What made you leave Islam, and how did you find the forum?

Happy New Year! Take care!  far away hug

Hi Laika, I used to doubt islam during 2006-2009 and kept saying to my friends that my religion is music and sport lol, it was a joke while I was still in process of searching, not sure about my stand and exploring what is islam is really all about.

Until 2009-2010, I learn from some guys on Facebook wall discussing about god. I take many lesson from them and finally it convinced myself as newborn Atheist just a few days before ramadhan 1431 Hijriyah (around July 2010). I left islam because I realize that religion is completely insane and I can prove it brings no good after all, It even divides people from beginning until foever.

Well, actually i was the one who's mad and wanna have revenge when I realized that religion was evil itself. I felt deceived and keep mocking on allah/islam. some of my friends could not take it then they un-friended me, but some still with me. That's just proof me who's the ones really takes me whatever I am.

I'm now an atheist and proudly dedicate my life to humanity.
I can't say much cause it will be my burden if I can't fullfil it. Somehow I get here and feels glad.

    Cheers
