  • what should I name my book?
     OP - December 26, 2010, 12:54 AM

    Hello guys!
I have written a book that I don't know what to name grin12
The book is about my immortal beloved: Islam.
It's the same one I posted a few bits of it here:
    http://www.councilofexmuslims.com/index.php?topic=11865.msg328368#msg328368

but I changed the book from a book about Islam, Saudi Arabia and me growing up in there to a book about Islam only.
I will soon make the book available for download, but I need a name for the book first!.
To help me find the appropriate name for this book, here's the chapters outline:
So lucky to be a male (How males in the Arab world are favored over females, and the fantastic status of women in Islam.)

So unlucky to be a Muslim (Well, since that the majority here are ex-Muslims, there's no need then to explain this chapter grin12. But anyway, it's about the fear of hell, the fucking endless number of obligations and bans in Islam such as the five prayers, the too many rules of  the Sharia, and the belief in Jinns.)

The prophet of the sword (Well, you can guess whom this chapter is about Wink, yes, it's a biography of dear Muhammad.)

Islam and the other (The fantastic status of infidels in Islam)

Terrorism (Why Muslim terrorists attack the west)

The true Islamic terrorism (Islam's nice touch regarding apostates and criticizers of Islam)

Answering apologists of Islam (The biggest chapter of all times grin12, full of detailed refutations of the common crap of Muslim apologists.)

A list of the abrogated verses of the Quran (Maybe this is the first work of its kind in English, I listed all the abrogated verses in the Quran according to Ibn Hazm's book "The abrogating and the abrogated", and as you can guess, the majority of the verses are of the nature of compassion and tolerance against non-believers and different beliefs, most of them were abrogated by the infamous "sword verse".)

    so what do you think?

I think the words: "Saudi Arabia" and "Ex-Muslim" should be in there as that would make people say; "Wow!"

Can't think of anything snappy tho :(

    "Musings of a Saudi Apostate"

"1001 Tales of an Arabian Skeptic"

Salim, I enjoyed reading what you've posted so far.  You can tell me to piss off but I think you need an editor.

    My suggestion for the title:

The Wager: A Saudi's guide to reason

wut?  Jinns aren't real?   Cry  Along with that myth, might I suggest that
Mo talked about good jinn too, but they are just an afterthought, noone
EVER talks about the good jinn!   Cry  And what kind of ego centric idiot
would carve the name of allah on a bone at throw it at a jinn.  How would
YOU feel if someone did that to you!   Cheesy
