Cannot Edit Posts OR retract Ignored Users

An Error Has Occurred!
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.

This appears for the following actions:

Trying to edit a post
9 times out of 10 when posting in the shoutbox
Every time I try to reply to a PM
Trying to take someone off the "ignore" list

I can post in shoutbox after a second or third time mostly.
Same with the PMs

But not with editing posts or taking someone of the ignore
list. I have logged out, and logged back in, and the problem
still persists. This has only started to happen since I had been
on hiatus and started posting again this past month or so.

And just trying to post THIS, I get

The following error or errors occurred while posting this message:
Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message.

the second time i submit my message, it usually works

Sounds like a cookie problem. Nothing has been changed on your account settings so the hiatus shouldn't have affected anything. The only reason that the break could be relevant is if their has been an upgrade to your browser in that time and something went iffy with the new version.

Which browser are you using (and please don't say IE)?
