"Hate speech" on Have I Got News For You

Numerous Muslims on Facebook, Twitter, Muslim forums, and organisations like MPACUK are urging fellow Muslims to complain to the BBC because of a JOKE on Have I Got News For You.

That's all it was, a JOKE! I thought it was quite funny myself...

This highly offensive, deeply offensive hate speech on Have I Got News For You seeks to demonise and victimise and discriminate against Muslims and fuel the rising tide of Islamophobia.

These ignorant non-Muslims need to be educated surely? They must be riddled with "misconceptions" about Islam. This is the perfect opportunity to give dawah to the woefully ignorant non-Muslims.

Did I forget to mention that comments such as these can also fuel RACISM!

This must surely be flagged up in the next "Stop Islamophobia" event (whenever that will be held. Seems to be a monthly thing nowdays).

Fuckin tards. There's nothing more frustrating than bullshit accusations of bigotry and discrimination because they trivialize real instances of bigotry and discrimination and allows the bigot to point at the boy who cried wolf.

In all seriousness, it was a mildly amusing joke, but even if Muslims are offended, making a big deal about it will just draw attention to it even more, and create a backlash of sorts, and encourage even more jokes of this kind. These activist groups should have got to understand this by now.
