    It's quite bad actually... I can't read arabic well anymore.

    I have memorized a few surahs and surprisingly, those are still with me.

    I actually feel kind of bad, I've lost the skill to read arabic Tongue

    When I was younger and I used to go to weekend-madrasa. I was actually very good. I used to get note from the teacher to show at home. "Today Al-Ma`arri read this surah very good...blabla".

    But like most Muslims I didn't understand a jack shit of what I was reading.  Cheesy

    Maybe If I kept on I would have become a hafiz and marry a pious Muslimah?  Tongue

    I can, sort of committed to memory, want to forget it, can't forget, annoyed of nasheed playing in my head when hearing it, especially asma ul husna, damn, I need some music

    Isnt this funny that some of us can read Arabic writings without understanding what they actually means, this is a perfect definition of educated illiterates, someone can write "Allah is an asshole" and a typical muslim would read it without understanding what it means  Cheesy
