    Never let it be said that the Qur'an rests on it's laurels. As soon as scientists put forward a new theory of a 'cyclic model' of the universe (i.e. repeated big bangs + big crunches over and over again) than the Qur'an said it all 1400 years ago.

    btw I want credit for this one, as I discovered it during the translation of that horrible book by that evil murtad. (Mashallah! How amazing is Allah's way, that he shows us the truth by the hand of the unbelievers - Blessed is He, Most High, Sweet & Clever.)
