     What's so bad about pork?

That it tastes good. Whatever feels good, is to be avoided, because life is a test. And you must suffer for an eternal earthly reward in a supernatural place.

    Lol

Does that mean, in hell, everything tastes like sprouts?

Your comment remembers me of a conversation I was eavesdropping years ago in elementary school.  A Muslim classmate of mine was explaining why swine is forbidden in Islam to a non-Muslim classmate. He mentioned how, "Pork is extremely delicious; more than any type of meat. If it was acceptable in Islam, Muslims couldn't control themselves." He obviously tried pork.
He's the same guy who claimed that saying, "Bismillah," before drinking alcohol would make it halal Roll Eyes

I was given a very different explanation to why it was banned. I was told that pigs have a very short (or absent) neck, and hence it is very hard (or impossible) to slaughter them in the halal manner. I can't comment on the validity of the claim as I'm not familiar with swine anatomy.
