what about the chechen tradition of kidnapping girls for forced marriage ? I know that a man can kidnap a girl and force her to marry him! probably you can give more details about this issue! as it is said in islam there is no such thing as forced marriage as the girl has the choice to accept or refuse! while it can be seen in many muslims communities that this is not the case!

Bride kidnapping or marriage by abduction or marriage by capture is nothing to do with Chechen tradition or Chechen Islam as you pointed out dear houzan85 ., That practice of a man abducting woman he wishes to marry has been practiced around the world and throughout history. it is true in modern times it continues to occur in countries in Central Asia, the Caucasus region at higher rate. But you also have that practice in parts of Africa, , in Southeast Asia, in Mexico and even in Europe.
