I believe that by doing so, we give more credit to the fact than certain Muslims are narrow-minded and refuse the difference.

I think that this kind of behavior is more due to social and identity contexts. I am always astonished by the behavior at the West from certain people, they allow themselves what they would not dare in an Arab country for example.
