What do you guys think about Jeffrey Lang?

I recently got videos of this guy shared around by Muslims I know. What do you guys think? Is he really Muslim? Does he follow all the rules? Is he really brilliant as I'm told? The appeal to authority seems desperate to me.

He seemed a genuine convert to me- but no one can follow all the rules, as there are far more than the pillars. One must still live in the world. I am sure there are many brilliant people who follow a religion. I am not familiar with the videos you refer to, I have an aversion to video. What exactly is your concern?

I think he is sincere in his beliefs. He's the only one I actually like and understand. He's quite intense. I think it comes from his background. I'm glad he didn't feel the need to wear the arab garb and looks cool in his tie and suits.
