  • Hello ... My story
     OP - June 22, 2020, 10:22 AM

    Hello,

My name is Tan Xiao (not real name to protect my privacy). I am basically from Pakistan. I identify myself as an agnostic now.

I started doubting Islam after I get to travel outside. There I saw how some countries have made a safe environment for women. no matter they wear bikini or burqa, no one has courage to harass them .

I think that was the starting point. I also had issues with the way Islam treats women. I used to pray five times, fast every year, qurbani every year. I left all. and now I feel peace.

i am calm but I cant adjust back in the society.

bikini/burka wearers are harassed outside muslim majority countries but I'd guess almost anywhere is an improvement over pakistan.

    and welcome.

Hey that is so nice from you that you saw it with open eyes. It does not matter what a woman wears clothes. Important is the behaviour of people. I hope you find your peace and your belief and your freedom. Good luck
