Im currently arguing with a few Muslim ladies over why exactly Muslim women are "supposed to" prayer in their homes. They just keep saying that its a "superior prayer" and we shouldnt even bother ourselves to pray in the mosque. But I know at some point I read a hadith or story in which an elderly lady found it difficult to get to the mosque for each prayer...so the Prophet allowed her (and by default all elderly people in general and also mothers with young children or sick etc) to remain in the home and perform prayer there. So he said something along the lines of "prayer performed in the home by women is superior then in the mosque" ...but he was referring to the elderly and mothers of young etc.
Anyhow...Im arguing with the women that its not compulsory for women to pray in the home...it was just a mercy to them or something...based on that story...but they think I made it up. (that I am in fact lying

)
I cant find it...anyone wanna give me a hand here....thanks
