    Welcome Indiana  Smiley

here is another good video to put the idea of hell into perspective:

Here's something else to make you ponder:

A non-Muslim asked a Muslim... "How much does Allah love us?"
The Muslim replied... "As much as a mother loves her child".
The non-Muslim then said... "No.  A mother would never burn her child in a fire no matter what they have done".

Thanks, edited it so I can use it in the future for my own discussions-

A non-Muslim asked a Muslim... "How much does Allah love us?"
The Muslim replied... "More than a mother loves her child".
The non-Muslim then said... "A mother would never burn her child in a fire no matter what they have done, even if he denied that she was his mother" .

Wow, I already think that infinite hell cannot be justice by any standard but this has been powerfully put right there. Defo use it in my own discussions! Cheesy Thanks!

The unlived life is not worth examining.

Not sure how to stop the fear from the islamic/christian hell, but for me, what scares me most, is the janna. It scares me having to spend time in a room full of people, that i did not particularly like here on earth, sitting on couches (or thrones if they killed people here on earth), worse of all, I will have to live in the 'house' of a person that i find despicable here on Earth. I would much rather go back to my grave and close my eyes.

Nar was for scaring kids. Janna scares adults. I am not an ex-muslim btw but lived in Egypt till the age of 15 and was very much immersed in the culture.

"Ask the slave girl; she will tell you the truth.' So the Apostle called Burayra to ask her. Ali got up and gave her a violent beating first, saying, 'Tell the Apostle the truth.'"
