MUSLIM extremists are demanding a ban on "impure children's toys" such as Peppa Pig and Barbie.
And some shopping centre stores are already ripping kids favourites said to promote "western values" from their shelves.
Hardline leaders fear the toys could poison their children against Islam.
They have targeted popular kids' telly character Peppa because it is a pig, an animal they brand "impure".
Spin-off toys from the Channel Five show have already been banned in Eastern Europe by some Muslim shopkeepers.
And fears are growing they will try to bring their campaign to Britain.
Preacher Omar Bakri Muhammad, 51, who is banned from Britain after praising the 9/11 bombings, said it was time for British Muslims to stop western culture corrupting their children?s minds.
He said: "The pig is something forbidden in Islam. It's impure.
Buying a cartoon toy of a pig for a child that they idolise could lead to them growing up in conflict with Islam.
People don't want their children to have something that's not Islamic.
Extremists have already banned Peppa Pig dolls from a shopping centre in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr Bakri also wants Barbie banned in favour of a range of Islamic toys promoting virginity and women in veils.
He said: "Look at the Barbie doll.
She wears make-up, has a boyfriend, a car that's why Muslims don't buy Barbie toys. I gave my daughter a
Fatima Muslim doll.
We try our best not to let western cultures corrupt our children's minds."
A children's tale based on the Three Little Pigs was rejected for an award last year in case it offended Muslims.
Bakri is planning to bring back his banned Al-Muhajiroun group, which wants to fly "the black flag of Islam over Downing Street".
Well, after all this Bakri's daughter turned out to be a pole dancer!
