How many of you guys have been to Istanbul and in particular Topkapi palace? I remember the sacred relics there and some of them were just laughable. Here are a few examples.

Ibrahims cooking pot! (I was looking for the Royal Doulton sticker underneath)
    Musa's stick (Really well varnished)
Dawud's sword (Where did they find that?)
Yusuf's Turban (This was the best. Tied in true ottoman style!)

There are other but's lets here your views.

I've not been to Istanbul but I've been to the Badshahi Masjid in Lahore where they also have a 'museum' of some of the Prophet's relics.  I couldn't see much as everything was covernd in a thick layer of dust, the electricity was out at the time and I was fighting against a crowd of local boys just to get a glimpse of what was there.  All I really remember was a very old piece of leather and a very dusty green turban which was supposed to have belonged to the Prophet.

    Atheism is a non-prophet organization.

My brothers & I clubbed into together to send my mum & sister there a couple of months ago.  My mum loves this kind of thing, and she doesnt get out much so she saw the blue mosque as well as other things.  My sister said it all looked false too and when she asked, even the tour guide told her so.
