And made the Islamic dream seem like a living hell leading to apostrophe and non-littoral interpretations of Islam and start of Cultural Islam with Cultural Muslims not gnostic Islam and un-skeptical Muslims. Implosion of that pipe dream imminent!

Quote: "Both men (Maqdisi & Abu Qatada of al-Qa'ida) are particularly appalled, they said, by the way Isis has used their scholarship to cloak its savagery in ideological legitimacy, to gain recruits and justify its battle with al-Qaida and its affiliates. “Isis took all our religious works,” Maqdisi said. “They took it from us – it’s all our writings, they are all our books, our thoughts.” Now, Abu Qatada said, “they don’t respect anyone”.

You mean they took all you said seriously then became batshit crazy fanatics - who'd have known!!

It would be hilarious if all the bloodshed wasn't so tragic.

It reminds me of a Miranda quote "I didn't mean what I meant"! Make up your mind!

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
