  • The Arabic of the Quran, is it really miraculous?
     OP - December 14, 2009, 02:53 PM

What do you guys think? Compared to other poetry, prose and so on how does it compare?

It's fine to write your own personal opinions for this question Wink

Personally, this is one of the subjects about Islam that really kills me, I really need to improve my Arabic, it's at the level of 6 year old :(

Quran is not impressive at all. In fact it is full of mistakes and weird silly jargons.

It rarely produces something beautiful or sublime. It mostly talks about sins, good deeds, hellfire, heaven, etc. and no matter how beautifully you write that, it still would suck.

Meh, there are a couple of good parables (good be a relative term) - then again if you want parables, the Tanakh provides it first hand original version Cheesy
