Hi, people. I found this site and thought it was really great. I'm not an ex-muslim (I'm not even an athiest -- I'm a Christian by choice) -- but I think everybody's got to decide for themselves what path they take in life. I've been an agnostic, a Buddhist, my own new-agy type of religion, and Christian.

Anyway, I think you guys are so brave. I read books by people like Bridgett Gabrielle and other ex-muslims and read sites about it. I try to educate people in US about how important our freedom of religion (or no religion) is, 'cos it's getting scary here, with the Christmas bombers and all. It makes some people want to give in to whatever they want 'cos they're scared of muslims or don't want to be accused of being "racist." ((Yeah, I keep telling 'em, islam's not a race.)

So I'm very glad to meet y'all, and I hope I'll be welcome even tho' I'm not an athiest, 'cos everyone's got to decide for themself.

Sounds like you've been busy trying to find some answers...any particular reason u settled for Christianity? Is that the religion of your parents?
