    What struck me the most about this thread is the idea that muslim women will be the one's occupying a major role in future assimilation/integration. Its an interesting idea.

    ^It's really an interesting idea. In the Netherlands, research has shown Moroccan women to get married at a later age (than Dutch women) and to have children at a later age. This is partly correlated with more Morrocans finishing their education and building a career but they also can't seem to find an eligible Moroccan partner, with the same degree of education who share the same ideals. Even divorce rates between young Moroccan couples is extremely high. I'd say Moroccan-Dutch women are far more liberal/secular than their male counterparts. The next step is to get married with non-Moroccans or, even better, non-Muslims and raise children with a secular mindset.
    The future is full of thrilling possibilities.
