I was looking through old threads and I find this one fascinating.
Last night I had a dream that I bought some really nice new shoes.
Ones that aren't really my style but I really liked them (both in the dream and reality)
And according to Dreammoods.com, dreaming about shoes meant:

In general, shoes represent your approach to life. Wearing shoes in your dream, suggests that you are well-grounded or down to earth. It also represents your convictions about your beliefs. If you are changing your shoes, then it refers to your changing roles. You are taking a new approach to life.

Dreams can not be interpreted in such a way - prescribing one formula for everybody. Whatever you dreamed is specific to you. Thus shoes, for example, will mean one thing in one person's dreams and another in yours as you have different feelings and associations with them in waking hours as well. Dreams are a fulfillment of wishes (as the word suggests) according to Freud, though, of course, interpreting them gets more complicated. Freud wrote a good book on the subject.

Without knowing you well, what happened to you recently, no one can tell what your dream means. Your dreams are part of you, even though they may appear foreign (thus superstitions of ancient people before Freud ascribing dreams to supernatural). Because of that, I believe that you are most suited to to interpret your dreams, once you learn the technique. It can be interesting.

Analyse this: I had a dream last night that people were clothes store mannequins and I was assembling them in a post-apocalypse hospital. I was putting the complete people in wards, but they kept falling apart in their beds. All I could hear was the flatline noise everywhere.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

That’s odd, cuz the night before I had a dream of you too. You were in the gutter, feeding on the scraps with rats. I got my chauffeur to pull the limo up alongside you, opened the window, squatted over your face and pissed into your mouth, and you was grateful for the nourishment. Then I drove away to my mansion and continued spearing my stable of man-whores.

ALM mentioned the tsunami. I think we all feel a little helpless when profound life-shattering disaster like that strikes. It's hard to see what we on the outside can do.

Hmm, I got engaged on new years eve, but have no anxiety about it. In fact, it was an amazing landmark moment that realigned my whole universe.
