Chinese and SE Asian languages (veitnames, thai) are a very weird to my ears, bordering on annoying. But I'm very interested in learning mandarin nonetheless.
Some guy once taught me how to say 'My name is...' in Mandarin. Took me about a week to pronounce it properly.
But it is: 'Wo da min chao ya deng.' Sans the tones.
Nordic languages (finnish, swedish, dutch, danish) are all very very annoying and sounds like someone stuck a vocal chord through a meat grinder.
The Finns wouldn't like you grouping them in with the Norse. They're not a Germanic people.
