Winning a dramatic and ridiculously long badminton rally!

Giving up a seat for people who need it, helping a young mother up the stairs with her baby in the pram & other random acts of kindness.

Walking by a lake during sunset on a warm summer evening with the girlfriend, our arms wrapped around each other's waist, immersed in laughter and drowning in happiness in being with each other.

Being on the winning side of a very close, dramatic 5-a-side football (soccer) game being played in the summer rain on a nice pitch with the green pennines in the background.

Doing something really extreme and/or dangerous that took you a while to build up the confidence to undertake.

And just for you Ephemeral for starting such a nice topic: your really awesome teen language & jokes!

    I love diversity!

I love to learn about different cultures, cuisines, languages, and art!

I love it when people from all walks of  life can come together and
enjoy each others' company, learn from each other, and support each other.

Mate, this is where I waist so much brainpower when writing a sentence:

    • Is it it's or its ?
    • Is it maybe or may be ?
    • e.g. or i.e.?
    • Have a long sentence or break it up?
    • Should I use a few extra words and keep fluid in the sentence and make it easy to read or construct a more concise phrase but isn't as easy to read?
    • Is the word formal enough?
    • Is the idiom appropriate?
    • Is using italics appropriate?
    • Do I used a hyphen or a comma?
    • Is the tone right?
    • Will the reader understand this?
    • Am I in a foul mood and is it better to write this later?

Sorry, slight derailment of the thread. Carry on now, don't mind me!
