I hate when I spend all my time and energy cooking, cleaning, serving for my family and they can't even be the least appreciative and complain about the smallest most minor things and piss me so fucking off.

+1. Totally understand. I found that it's just better to not expect any thanks from doing anything and be pleasantly surprised when you do get some positive feedback. Having no expectations seems to work well for a lot of scenarios, actually.

I don't think getting drunk is morally objectionable, but I don't want to ever get drunk again because I don't like the state of mind. I don't like being around drunk people - I prefer stoners - but I don't see it as morally wrong.

It implies that abortion is okay for everyone else... but not for oneself, with the implication that one is better than everyone else for being this way.

I thought the gay example was more clarification that one is not gay but totally doesn;t care who is.

I also never get that off my friends who say abortion isn't for them but they don;t have a judgement against anyone who does it. Its a disclaimer that they have no choice but to add since people make an assumption that they must be anti abortion.

Its more like some people actually don't mind if their life is changed, or they are trapped, or if they are too young, or none of those things, they are just happy to have the baby.

But they totally understand that others need different choices.

I don't see how saying it, means they believe they sit above the rest.
