OMG I can't tell you how many times I've been stopped by muslims at uni asking me where the prayer room is. There's always an awkward silence right before I make up some random directions that could lead to Narnia for all I know.

Someone asked me that at uni too and my response was "there's a prayer room? where?" trying to feign some concern like I was interested but it was so half assed I think the guy knew I wasn't really interested in praying. Most of my 'new' friends know the score, its the old ones that I have the awkwardness with.

Oh dear, that sounds absolutely horrible. I wonder how I will ever cope if I have the same problems as you, yours' sound a lot more terrible. Sometimes I look at people who have such problems and think that I'm not entirely immune either. Keep strong.

No one is entirely immune McHawking. Just two moderate head traumas within ten months of each other and life has not been the same since. Just one or the other or if they had been sperated by a couple years I may well of had full recovery. Most days I'm strong enough to say, ''What doesn't kill you makes you strong''.
