    Haven't read through all of this, too many pages, but some people were saying that they don't see the point in valuing virginity, why not? Without religion is sex not valuable? I'm sure the alternative doesn't necessitate promiscuity?

    I was and still am quite the romantic, I wanted my first time to be with someone I loved and loved me back. I've had lovers, flings, one night stands, and I don't really have any regrets. In my personal experience having sex with someone you're in love with is very different from having sex with someone you're not in love with, although the latter can still be enjoyable. I'm not sure I'd say sex is valuable with religion but obviously atheism doesn't lead to promiscuity, which by the way I have no problem with.

    I find a sex with a partner much more fulfilling than a string of one night stands but I have some memories that still make me smile Wink

    In all honesty, I don't know if this is cultural baggage or whether or not I would've held this opinion of my own accord were I born and bred in the UK to non-Pakistani Muslim parents, but I think sex should ONLY be with someone who you both love AND are committed to (long-term reelaitonship).
