I don't see how militarily defeating NATO (meaning they withdraw--they will soon) is enforcing it. Hmmmm no, I understand your valid points but I just disagree with some of them that's all.

I was claiming that 'fundamentalism' of Talibans is not defeating imperialism its enforcing/vitalising it. This is why:

I agree, but do Afghans? They're the one's that matter.

You mean why didn't anyone say anything FOR burning little children? Yeah, I am not surprised.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

The Afghans are the victims caught in the middle.

The problem here is that personally I think that both sides in the conflict are wrong hence I criticize both.

I haven't had a chance to look at it but now that I had what exactly do you expect me to say? That I condemn US imperialism and such 'collateral damage'? I do that all the time.

Btw I wanted to ask you something about Pakistan and Afghanistan Aphrodite.

Is it true that Pakistan and Afghanistan are still feudal in a way? That there are a few politically well connected landlords and loads of landless tenants/peasants - a typical class division?

That is the results of massive bombing that should not have taken place. There is no justification for that.  Period.  I thought it was pretty obvious.

It SHOULD be obvious, but I don't think it is. People who commit such crimes should be hunted down like Osama is, instead they stroll around claiming the good guys.

Sorry forgot to reply yesterday. I've only been Pakistan twice and didn't travel much, but from what I know yes its very feudal, you can get like landlords owning soooooo much land that most isn't even used!  finmad
