Well, it would have been really stupid of him to actually go for the debate anyways.

It's a shame about this. I think TR possesses the critical faculties to really shake the foundations of what Hamza calls 'the intellectual foundation of Islam'. The sad thing is that I do actually think Hamza is a learned & intelligent guy so why he can't see that Islam is just man made, 7th century mumbo jumbo I will never know. I think it may be the case that he has become far too engrossed in the whole thing for so long that consequently he has developed tunnel vision which does not allow him to recognize or admit the truth.

When truth is hurled against falsehood, falsehood perishes, for falsehood by its nature is bound to perish.

My hunch is that Hamza is more seduced by the idea that he can convince people his argument is true, rather than actually being convinced by it himself.

I think you may be right TR but it is nonetheless sad to see people wasting their talents on propogating & promoting something which at its' core is clearly & fundamentally false. I wish more people, especially so from my own Pakistani origin community, would have the courage to argue against something solely on the basis of evidence which proves it to be false.

To me it looks like there is a rapture in the act of declaring and 'debate' - it doesn't matter what is said, all that matters is the declarations of Islam. The process is the message. He's in ecstacy just by talking and it doesn't matter that its all bullshit. He exists on a different dimension to those he debates with.

Its like a form of cognitive dissonance that seems at a stage to become public delusion - but to him that is the rapture of Islam. Its almost like the rapture that the Christian baptists get when they speak in tongues.

Effectively, that is what dawah merchants like Tsoztis do - speak in tongues.

Why don't they debate online FFS? If they want to include other members besides Hamza, let them do that, but why can't they debate online? It's not a fucking date now, is it?

PS: That's the new RDF forum, truth_seeker yes (I liked the old forum though, this sucks)

Have you never heard the expression "Judaism, the most atheistic monotheistic religion in the world"?

I have heard Jews say "Most Jews are atheists" Smiley

Exactly, and who is it that keeps going on and on about the debate not happening?  Not me that's for sure, it's the people that are in the position to make it happen.  All they have to do is to honour the original agreement, they won't even need to dip into their "Big Debates" fund either Smiley

They have been profoundly rattled by an intrusion into their private echo chamber in which the 'subhanallahs' and 'inshallahs' and mutual dawah kissing sessions bloviate them to a delusional state both comical and absurd.

Oh no, darkness comes, The Rationaliser is upon us again.

I think Hamza wanted to debate with you live because he thinks he can get the upper hand by simply giving you an huge amount of bullshit arguments and half-truths and perverted facts and opinions, and you'll never be able to argue against them because you'll have no idea what he's talking about. With Skype, you can actually google all of his lies like in the Magic Sandwich Show.

I too dance and drink, and sing,
Till some blind hand shall brush my wing.
