i have to say muddy you have started to appear more sane and reasonable now. i knew i liked you for a reason.

I wish parents everywhere could remove their veil of religion and see their kids for whom they actually are.

    Quote
    Book 13, Number 2381:
    Narrated AbuHurayrah:

A man asked the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) whether one who was fasting could embrace (his wife) and he gave him permission; but when another man came to him, and asked him, he forbade him. The one to whom he gave permission was an old man and the one whom he forbade was a youth.

Now that does not make sense, how old is old?  Older men can be just as lustful as younger ones!

Teach us to care and not to care / Teach us to sit still.

Moh telling Ayesha: Yo Ayesha! I am old and totally dry because of fasting, and I can't even produce enough saliva. But you are young, fasting isn't fardh on you, can I suck your tongue? Win - Win ....... (for me)

I like the fake hadith idea, muddy!  Afro

I don't see a problem with pranks so long as they aren't hateful or intolerant. I don't think that one is.

    It is counter productive.

In a debate with a muslim you are likely to have hadiths that you use to defend a point, dismissed with replies such as "oh that's a fake hadith" or "some enemy of Islam created that hadith so we dismiss it", and now you and muddy would like to make these replies, truthful replies?

From when you start making up false hadiths to circulate amongst muslims, you have lost the day really.

Not a prank, just cruel: I went into a Pakistani co-workers cubicle today and dumped some freshly cooked bacon into his garbage bin. So by the time he got into work his cubicle had the delicious aroma of yummy bacon all over. I could tell he was agitated because their's nothing that inspires hunger like the smell of bacon.

Yo dude, you misquoted me, i never said that.  I was arguing against that.  Grin

The most I am prepared to do is food pranks.  Like slapping my bro in the face with a rasher of bacon.

or wafting my delicious food in his face.

Or smoking high grade right next to him as he suffers because he can't.

I just can't do the false hadith thing, too much potential to backfire, and considering the standard "that is a false hadith" argument, we would be doing ourselves no favours.

we only get false hadith arguments from those who have guts to answer us with arguments. Otherwise, if you saw the Paris Hilton converting to islam page, you will see 99% of the comments "subhanallah".. "mashallah" etc.. Its not too difficult to play with the gullible.. Tongue
