The Wire season 4 was and probably the best season on TV.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

I liked The Wire. But I'm still waiting for another show like LOST. Something that combnines sci-fi adventure with mystery and in depth characterisation. All my favourite things in one.

    Agents of SHIELD is rubbish.

Did anyone watch the mid season finale of The Walking Dead. No spoilers, but much, much better than anticipated. Two WTF moments.  Taking a page out of Game of Thrones perhaps? Can't wait for GOT to return  cool2

LOST was pretty damn awesome until they added all that supernatural bullshit. Now I don't mind supernatural stuff in TV shows, but not when it makes so sense at all. The writers really made a mess of season 5 and 6.

And yeah, awesome mid season finale. The Walking Dead is awesome!

To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement, its like a combination of a watered down version of Heroes and Fringe,I couldn't continue after watching the pilot.

Same here.  The starting scene was hilarious.  Bollocks as Lestrade said, but very funny.  Derren Brown!

I hear the same. And then I watched it. And then I was like "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"

Seriously, don't bother. It's crap. Ugh.

Unless like me you miss Breaking Bad so much that you're willing to watch any drivel that has Dean Norris as a main character.

Because I saw Hank (Dean) on Under the Dome, I was really tempted to watch the show. I miss Breaking Bad... I'm still going through my post-finale depression. I doubt I would find anything like Breaking Bad... Cry

Just watched the latest episode of "The Big Bang Theory".

They are overusing the "audience laughter soundtrack" waaaay to much lately.

I mean I like the show but using the soundtrack that many times actually reduces the quality of the show.

I didn't love it as much as the first episode, but it was still brilliant.  They're saying on the twittosphere that a central character is going to be killed off in the final episode.   Cry

Its just wonderful isn't it? I mean, its so bloody brilliant! It shouldn't work because of the twists and storylines but it does, its just so well done, everything about it.

the Irish lady who finally got to sleep with Sherlock was cute too  grin12

Maybe the fangirl theory which involved Sherlock and Moriarty snogging on the roof was the right answer after all.   Cheesy

I thought Moriarty was going to come back somehow. I just had it nagging me through the episodes.

I want to know if Irene Adler is going to come back in a future series, not just in a mind bank scene.

    That will be pure chocolate.

Is anybody following Eastenders at the moment?  I'm not really into it but they seem to be tackling the thorny issue of muslim radicalisation with that girl who's just returned from Pakistan.

She's right, it took me 5 mins of the pilot episode to ask myself what took me so long not to watch it.

I've seen Masters of Horror and Masters of Science Fiction, but I have yet to see Masters of Sex.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
