Arctic Monkeys were brilliant, probably the highlight of the festival. Shame we had to choose between them or Portishead. That's the worst part about such a diverse and expansive music festival, the inevitable timetable clash of two artists you wanna see. Johnny Marr was good. Smashing Pumpkins. Editors. Loads of bands whose name I can't remember.
Awesome nightlife there too. DJ's from all genres. We were wandering around looking for somewhere to settle for the night, and there's Fatboy Slim playing to a crowd. I didn't even know he was there.
It wasn't the best line up this year compared to previous years, but it's still always worth the money. There's just so much going on, even besides the actual music.
