Which is a subset of human rights abuses, and is no different in principle to any other examples of invasion/ subjugation.

Devious, treacherous, murderous, neanderthal, sub-human of the West. bunny

no, oz. the belief that there are no people when there are people living there is a product of modernist white philosophy that does not recognize other people as people and other cultures as civilizations.

Balderdash and piffle. Give me an example of a case where there was a documented and real belief that there were no people living "there".

It didn't apply in Australia. The Aborigines were recognised as people, even though they were thought by many to be inferior. The whole Terra Nullis thing was about the lack of a government that could represent all of them. It was seen as not being a nation per se, not as a place that had no people at all living in it.

New Zealand was similar. The Maoris were definitely recognised as people. They weren't seen as equal to Europeans, but then frankly the Maori thought they were better than the Pakeha. Grin

Yeah some of my best friends are brown. Tongue

And of course I'm exceptionally partial to anything that says "Fuck those brown bastards" too, but for some obscure reason it's not considered polite to mention that. Tongue

    Abood-
I just don't see the point of saying "white" in your post.  As if being the white skin pigmentation has something to do with being a human rights abuser or colonialist! You could say, colonialism in the recent centuries by Europeans or North Americans, but whites??
It is said: --Arabs-- conquered this and that country during the expansion of islam, not the --white Arabs--.

The Greco-Roman-Indian-Chinese-Semitic civizaltion is what is the best, the Semitic contribution being the alphabet, not the religions.

    Everything else sucks ass.

the problem is when you enter someone else's home and act like there aren't any inhabitants. happened in north america, australia, new zealand, palestine, and many other places. the problem is modernist, white, male philosophy that does not recognize other cultures as civilizations.

If this is what you're fighting, you've already lost well before you were born.

    how fuck works without shit??

All it is, is justification for theft. When you know something is wrong, then delude yourself into thinking it's ok. It's got nothing to do with white people, we dehumanize people all the time. Well I don't, I've gone so far as to humanize animals, like chimpanzees who I think should have rights like us, not exactly the same but basic rights. finmad

I can't call him human, but I can call him a person. Jail time

In a way it's a good thing that we have to dehumanize people before we can kill them en masse. If we could kill without dehumanizing, that would be worse. It's why we call murderers animals, even though animals murder a lot less. Huh? It's how we justify death penalties throughout history. We 'need' to kill the murderer, but we can't kill a human being. So we spread loose propaganda willingly, that they're animals. Although I personally disagree with the death penalty as burning downs someone house isn't justice for arson.

Now, finishing my goat curry, and back to Arkham City. parrot
