Those are great pictures Pepe  Afro Do you know what that little red bird is called? It looks kind of out of place in a snowy landscape.

     Reply #493 - January 23, 2013, 04:47 PM

The red one is called a Cardinal. The blue one is a Blue Jay and the little ones are Chickadees.

Hey. The first bunch I posted were with a Nikon D7000 and the second bunch was with a Nikon D700. 70-200mm f2.8 VR lens with a x2 teleconverter to make it into a 400mm. Shooting at 3200 and 4000 of a second to freeze those wings in motion.

Playing with lens profiles in Lightroom. Mainly to make an otherwise boring film shot more exciting.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I remain.

    Thanks.   Smiley

It's not bad.  I appreciate that I have no need to alter it. Those are the natural colors. of course this is the only one that survived out of the 60 or so I took. The rest were flawed.

I have others. Some I like better.
