Yeah, he's all over that 6-string. He's doing harmonics on another video too. I love the video as much as the music. Fresh band chemistry before the ego's start to take over. They must know they are creating something special.

Speaking of French electronic artists, Daft Punk impressed me with the Tron Legacy Soundtrack. They always have impressed me, but Tron Legacy is a real showcase for them. It was kind of them to let Disney make an hour and half music video for them.

I been thinking of mixing some nice rock vocals on non-rock tracks, mashing up basically. I like rock and I like rap and Im really sick of the stuff I been hearing. Very bored. I want to listen to something I enjoy hence the idea. I just need to do my research and install a nifty editing software.

It's just a catch-all term for synthesized music or sound. As in, music or sounds not made by conventional string, wind, percussion instruments, and instead made with an electronic synthesizer (though synthesizers typically have a keyboard and are an instrument in themselves).

It also might refer to Synthpop or New Wave etc, but I think arX had a more diverse and ranging definition in mind than that.
