who cares if a woman is desi or not!  come on, people!  This is about STRONG
WOMEN!  Not about color, creed or culture.  I applaud her!  She is a phenominal
WOMAN with true courage!  Is that what bothers you at the root? A STRONG
    WOMAN?

Showing off your skin is what that is considered being "strong" these days? Mariam Namazie is a better example of a "strong woman".

Only to someone who judges strength based on clothing.

To me, deciding to do something and taking the consequences is strong.

The strength to follow your own decision making process and to have faith in your choices, to have the backbone to stand behind them.

Strip, don't strip, whatever, just be strong with it.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

its an act of retaliation to the heinous oppression of women EVERYWHERE!
and it takes alot guts when you been brought up to believe that its shameful

geez talk about failing to grasp what I was actually saying. To say Iranians are not Desi is similar to saying Punjabis are not Indian (but Persian), that is what I was pointing out, it makes more sense to say that Punjabis are Persian if you're going to say Iranians are not Desi, I was addressing another post by the way. The UN classes, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Bengal Srilanka, as SOUTH ASIA.  Indo-Aryans and Iranians come form the same family so if Tamalis can be considered Desi then so can Afghanis and Iranians.

I don't understand why Jinn and Tonic and some others would find that offensive to the point of quoting a nonsensical yazeeve post in your signature. lol.

    Quote
For the past 33 years, the Iranian people have been kept hostage in their own county by a group of barbaric savages who despise anything Iranian and are slowly purging any remnant left of pre-Islamic Persia, as well as Persian textbooks. These pro-Arab invaders are not Iranians by any means. “Iranian” is defined by a state of mind, not by a place of residence. The barbaric mullahs and their mercenaries presently ruling Iran are not Iranians. They are Islamofascists who have enlisted themselves in the service of a most oppressive, discriminating, and demeaning ideology.

Iran is such a fascinating place. This contrast between the horror and brutality of the regime, and its highly sophisticated, ancient, independent high civilisation and pre-Islamic identity.

Iran will be OK - the important stuff is in the British Museum!!

Please, tell me you're not saying that bombing Iran would be all good because there's no important artifacts to preserve, are you?

Yeah, that would definitely be stupid. I mean, many very important artifacts are still there Tongue. Persepolis was a little too heavy and cumbersome to carry around !

People's (individual) lives are much more meaningful than any historic junk.

    That's what I meant.

I demand Iran expel all women from the country tomorrow as it came to my attention that they all walk completely naked in public under their clothes that they put on their completely naked bodies! Think of all the naked vaginas under those clothes! How much more indecent can it get? Iran is too pure and Islamic to have any naked women (with clothes or without) within it's accepted international, (i.e. zionist) borders. (Intentionally did not simply say "borders" as there are none of course, you should know that the Earth belongs to Allah).
