    Perhaps a bit over-simplifying in order to prove a point. But saying abortion before week 22 (when a fetus can survive outside the womb with the help of modern medicine) is murder, is just silly.

    I don't think it was meant to be taken so seriously... and abortion, especially before the first trimester, is not even remotely close to murder.

    What a joke. What kind of life does a 22 week premature bay have even after its "saved" by modern medicine. Usually not good.

    A very normal life, actually. Depending on exactly how premature the birth was, the child will be behind in development in comparison to its pears, however, when reaching adulthood (after puberty) the person will have caught up. There are studies conducted on this issue.

    ...Wait, I kind of want to see the veil. Grin

    It was always interesting to see what women who had the option to choose their dress elected to wear, hijab-wise. There was this one woman at our mosque who wore the niqab, but they were seriously the prettiest things ever. I remember once she showed up to the Friday prayer in this niqab/abaya set that was beige, but the hem of her sleeves and a slash across the skirt part was cherry red, and her niqab was the same two-toned design. I can't describe it enough to do it justice, but it was interesting enough that it definitely did little to keep us from looking at her.
