    With a national obesity rate of about 26% (women) and the overweight being at about 35% (women), this is likely to fail here.

    Two seperate categories.

    Admittidly it doesn't appear too high because the technical definition of overweight is anyone with an above healthy BMI. This manifests itself as a slight lovehandle in some women for example so therefore you wouldn't think of her as overweight. It's still unhealthy but it's not necessarily unattractive. I think most men actually like a bit of meat on the bones rather than nothing. That's how I feel anyhow.

    But still, these jeans wouldn't work here, especially since the Japanese have an extremely low obesity rate.

    Anyway, sorry to Hijack the thread with talk of fat and thin.

    I'm going to a birthday themed Superheroes. I'm thinking of going as Elektra. I need some opinions on the stuff I might buy. This is what I am trying to replicate-

    Neither of those are right. The first one is seriously naff if you're going for the amazon superwench look. The second one is far too "Playboy".

    As for the jeans, definitely go skinny with calf length boots.

    Re the boots: don't go for killer heels unless you can carry them off when you're partying. A lot of women like to wear them but can't manage to walk properly in them and sort of totter along. It looks ludicrous IMO. You need catlike grace to do stilettos.

    Scenario two suits me fine Tongue As long as it's all red and I have a bandanna and swords people will know who I attempted to replicate Tongue I ended up getting the flared jeans, I really don't like skinnies, they look gay. I'll never wear them again so no point buying them.

    That outfit is hot! Black hotpants and red heels so nicely with anything. I've worn that outfit before but without the prada print.

    As for those thong jeans, well they look a but naff to me so I doubt I'd wear them! I think it looks better just wearing a normal black thong and low rise jeans, rather than this all-in-one piece.

    If I remember correctly, weren't you after a red corset top? There are some nice ones in Ann Summers at the moment, might be worth having a look in there. Otherwise if you're in London then you can always pop up to Camden and you're bound to find a nice corset.
