    Agreed.

    My point with this thread is to discuss how religion in itself is a lie, particularily when these religions require a belief in the existence of a deity that cannot ever be demonstrated to be true. All these crazy religions have a claim as to being the only true path, when none of them can prove their claims.

    In reality, the only true path is the one we make ourselves according to what is, as opposed to what is not. These religions are like con artists in that they attempt to convince people that something is there, when that something cannot be detected in any way. That's the same as telling someone that there is a great Spaghetti Monster flying around in the sky, and expecting them to believe it. Ridiculous isn't it?

    If people cannot prove the claims to be true, why believe in those claims?
