    Intelligence doesn't get you out of Islam, I know Muslims that are much smarter than me, an open mind helps more than anything.

    The graph is correlated with younger age group = more ex-Muslims by proportion!

    To be hinest I think there is a difference between smartness and intelligence , I think of intelligence to mean somebody who will tkae the initiative to find out for themselves whats actually the truth , whereas smartness could simply be academic prowess or IQ , etc.

    ^^ Interesting. Yes, I think he might be onto something. I have a fairly average IQ but I am quite a passionate guy (filled with the burning desire to shake every Muslim like a ginger stepchild and scream "WHYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!")

    Younger ex-Muslims (what I call the Murtad-lings) are more likely to visit the forum than older ex-Muslims. I mean in general forum users are younger.

    You probably won't hence the wikipedia link. I don't want to waist your time if info can be gained condensed and quicker. Although, you'd be surprised, the book it enjoyable because:

    - it writes a lot about India and the emerging market/BRICs
    - a hilarious walk around an Indian call centre (among the lines of "A student selling a card he could never afford:, "Morning Mr Smith, can I introduce you to a new platinum ... hello ? Hello?" "
    - and overview of how middle America/West has to up it's work force in a competing world of Indian/Chinese minds. They are hungry for success after all that satellite MTV watching.
    - Finally, EVEN a section on the practical issues of Islam, and why as he writes, there are more books in Spain than the whole of Arab region combined.
    - and ... more!
