Goodbye Hassan. Everything you've done for the ex-muslim cause: posting on the forums, youtube vids, JnT show... list goes on, has been of the utmost importance and it will be a shame to see you leave. You were the most inspiring and lucid of the ex-muslim contributors here, not to mention the one who I think has made the greatest positive impact on my own thoughts. I hope you will be as successful in whatever you're moving on to as you have been here.  Afro

If I live or if I die.

All my best, my good man. You were pretty much instrumental in my decision to take the official step into apostasy, cosmicdancer. Hope to meet you IRL one day.

    Good luck to you sir!

Will run through your fingers, forgotten so fast"

Though it's unfortunate that the forum is losing a rather more sober and wise member, I'm sure you'll be far better off in the end without having to contend continuously with all the baggage that goes with involvement in the debate between Islam, its opponents and ex-Muslims. Nor should I fail to give my personal thanks to you for showing both me and others that Muslims, and indeed even Islam, are far more nuanced and varied than we may be led to believe. Though this may seem obvious, it's a valuable understanding to have, and its often lost in the rhetoric and narrow-mindedness that plague this conversation.

    Thank you, Hassan. Be well.

    Salam.

had to log in from my own hiatus and post here to say good bye. Thanks for all the work you've done here! I really enjoyed your input on the JnT show and hope to see you from time to time. Good luck in whatever you're doing now and thanks for giving us so much here.  thnkyu
