  • Have you ever wondered?
     OP - July 13, 2014, 04:46 PM

You know that feeling just before you sleep? The one where you think of all of these strange things, or you suddenly become motivated to give up smoking or starting exercise ... Have you ever thought that you may just be wrong? And in that, I mean with your religious affiliation and views.

I love this forum - I've learnt here more about Islam than what I knew whilst I was practicing. But for those that have denounced their faith, do you think that a change of belief is just a temporary blip that people go through in life anyway? That people just come here to make themselves feel better by pointing out discrepancies in religion? Surely people have realised that there are discrepancies in the Qur'an, but why do people still believe so strongly?

There must be a reason why people still follow religion. I see at as either people who question are perceived as being in the wrong, or people who are religious are just delusional.

    No.

No free mixing of the sexes is permitted on these forums or via PM or the various chat groups that are operating.

Women must write modestly and all men must lower their case.

Thats a normal thought to have if you new to losing religion, I had those nights, these are questions you need to answer for yourself. For me talking about religious matters is a learning experience because I admit I don't know everything and i learn a lot here.

Also I come here to identify with what a lot of the people are going through, to vent, to have a laugh. This site has a big social aspect to it. Its

so its not at all what you said here for me

Also people believe and stay in religion for many reasons, not everyone can face reality or WANTS to face reality.
