Now for Adam and Eve and Evolution. I think you should ask me. I accepted Adam and Eve and still know very little about Evolution. Ie in some respects I'm still your typical Muslim.
But even with the little that I know I can say the following;
Genetic Ancestry would have surely pointed us in the direction of Adam and Eve? One couple and their handful of children? Resulting in all these modern and diverse people?
If Adam was 90 cubits or whatever the fuck wouldn't we find any kind of proof? Archaeological proof. What about evolutionary proof? Surely that should have been proven in today?s humans? 90 cubits means larger organs right? What about the design of such a body and it?s implications on surviving in their climate? For example, we can find archaeological proof of one family that immigrated out of Africa about 70 000 years ago, right in arabia. Surely we would be able to find Adam And Eve? Surely Allah would want us to find this proof and disprove the Kuffars?
What about how Adam and Eve were created in heaven and sent down on Earth? Where is the proof of this?
How about providing us with some good information. Like where they landed, proof of this? When they landed, proof of this? How long they lived, proof of this?
Homo Sapiens came about 200 000 years ago. Now was Adam a Messenger or not? This is not really clear. But in any case, it?s totally absurd, the timeline is crazy, I mean we have a clear succession of prophets but surely it couldn?t have started 200 000 years ago? Even if you stretch each prophet?s age to 1000 years (which is absurd in itself) it would have to reach down from 200 000 years. This is a muddled point I know, but what I?m trying to say is that the timeline is really unrealistically long for prophets and messengers. Again, there is no proof of these people ever existing.
No proof? Oh ok I guess it?s a metaphorical story, wait, a story? Kuffer surely. It?s a literal story. THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE CASE. Don?t try changing facts here. I grew up with this being a literal story. In fact saying its not is the same as saying we have to take Islam in faith, kuffer again, we believe in islam out of rationality and intelligence. Not faith only. Saying that they are stories, metaphorical, will transform us into the people of the book, people who have lost their origins. Allah forbid. This is innovation. *Tvi Tvi*
I remember when I was really young, around 9-12, maybe younger. I had asked my dad, how we all could have come from Adam and Eve if they only had two sons. And my dad said this is one of those black veils (he said something in Arabic, black space, impenetrable space, I don?t remember) that you can?t get past, that god put a limit on our thinking. Me looking up to my dad and seeing him as an intelligent person (which I still do) and loving and caring (which I still do) and pious (which I still do) took his word for it. Imagine how that must have affected me? Imagine how I would have been if my dad would have laughed, ruffled my hair and said "son do you believe in all stories told to you? Do you believe in dragons, and monsters?" imagine if he had left it at that?

She is very respectful. Notice how she was very sceptical but instead of disrespecting him she went and found another source. Also notice how the indigenous and nomadic people treat her with respect and help out whenever they can. Remember the nomadic people of Siberia? When the leader told her their creationism story, he said "this is a beautiful story". I mean he could have said other things, and maybe he believes in it, but we didn?t hear that, we heard that it?s a nice story. Not the literal truth of mammoths raising the world. Also notice how these people love their reindeers? What other indigenous people do we know that that love their local animals? Ahem like camels? Makes you think about how the local life affects everything; culture, religions and mentality.
