    I didnt mean just in respect to religion itself, but generally speaking..

    He is very contemplative when making a decision but he was never the philosophical type.

    Dont you think they are part of the same environmental (some might even say genetic) attribute that you may have inherited?

    Certainly think it applies to me & my dad (who was a medic too incidentally)

    What are you referring to by "they"?

    At any rate, I inherited many habits, manners, attitudes and predilections from my father but I don't think we share the same way of thinking. He doesn't seem to have an appetite or enthusiasm for philosophical discussions.
