Yeah, gotta love this guy  Afro , one of the great scientific skeptics of our generation.

    Here's his take on homeopathy:

I think his personality, from what I can tell (not just this video), is kind of annoying, too much arrogance.

    Funny poster.  Cheesy

Anyway, I was going to say: everyone has a different style and strategy of battle. Smiley  Christopher Hitchens has a pretty arrogant style of battle.
The skeptic movement are in a battle against pseudoscience and other kinds of baloney.  I, personally, prefer to follow the humble style (like Michael Shermer and Ben Goldacre), but I wouldn't bash the arrogant types. Smiley  Their fearless, assertive, self-confident style is sometimes necessary.

Yeah, you're right, it's good that they are there, it maybe what some people need to shake them into thinking, but I couldn't be friends with arrogant and snobby people or work with them. They would drive me mad.

Strangely enough, I find enjoyment in both types, I love Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins, but I also enjoy Michael Shermer, so I guess it more depends on the topic and what kind of mood I'm on. They can both be effective though, so they both suit their purposes.

I don't find Dawkins arrogant at all, and even though I disagree with a lot of Hitchens' political stances, I don't find him arrogant either.

I, personally, don't think they're arrogant either, I think they are geniuses  Smiley, but I know a lot of people do consider them arrogant.
