Yeezevee. You have diverted from the question at hand ie 'can "fundies" justify their violence?' to "how many Muslims are violent fundies?". However, I will indulge you. Most people in the world who classify themselves as "Muslims" have no record of actively engaging in what we call "Islamic terrorism" ie 9/11, Madrid, Bali etc etc.

Well an awful lot of Muslims - PARTICULARLY in what is commonly known as "The Muslim World" - dress just like the guy in the picture. Would I be correct in assuming that they share his cocksureness of the desirability and inevitability of "World Domination" by Islam?

There are hadith that say muslims would conquer Istanbul 1st then Rome (these hadith inspired a lot of the Islamic conquests) but nowadays most muslims are like "oh we'll wait for mahdi" and since mahdi wont come their thinking isn't a threat to anyone.

I assume there has been poll of Muslims which identified "most" of them as adhering to the "Mahdist" position you describe? Or is this based on your own conversations with Muslims?
