  • If those who lived are judged, what of those how aren't so lucky?

We are born and we live, therefore we are judged by our actions in the afterlife, yes?

What of those who are aborted, what of those who never reach the egg, what of those who are denied the opportunity to be alive by a trivial matters obstructing sex? A big minority of pregnancies begin as twins, before one vanishes, what of these?

Is it fair that not only do they not get a chance to live, but they also excluded from the chance to be judged and the chance to enter paradise? Why is it that a one-day old baby that dies will enter heaven, but not those that didn't get to live at all?

This isn't exactly philosophical in any way, just a little thought I have from time to time. Whenever I try to share it I never articulate it well enough and just end up giving up. I know I haven't explained it very well here either.

Amoku you've articulated that very well and it's an interesting concept I've never really thought of. I did question why many Americans are so against abortion (going to extreme measures to stop it) but they're fine about IVF treatment that  discards many potential life before it has a chance to get to embryo.

Obviously religious people will have some strange way of deciding whether or not these unborn babies have souls and can be judged so I'll be interested in what they have to say. Thanks for an interesting topic for debate Smiley.

Maybe they get to come this world at later chances? Or, like the innocent babies they end up in paradise as adults? Islam is never fair. Even though it is declared in the Quran that EVERY CREATION will have a taste of death, does it apply to the houris and ghilmans of heaven? How come we women suffer so much in this world but the houris gets to pass no test and enjoy heavenly delights since their birth? How come they are more venerated in the Quran than the human women? Well, if you say that the human women will be superior to them after the former's death, please note that some scholars say that those Ahadith are weak. In addition, no authentic Ahadith I have come across mention no such thing. Islam is illogical and so is it's rulings.
