Maybe, maybe not-- I rather doubt it unless the government develops a way to track what we are doing at any given moment of the day, and that's no kind of world I want to live in. And in any event the criminal justice system will still be made up of people, and people make mistakes no matter how good the technology is (plus people can manipulate technology to get the result they want)

For certain crimes, I definitely agree (like particularly heinous murders). But coming from the country with the world's highest incarceration rate, there are plenty of crimes here that could do with less severe sentencing.

Qman - my source is the trial coverage , both TV and print , which I've been following . Not all of us base our opinion on everything on wikipedia
I'ts believed that what finally killed him was a punch to the head that caused (further) neckand spinal injuries , and led to him swallowing a tooth which he may have choked on . Since it's not clear which one of them delivered the final blow or how much all his previous injuries contributed , they all get to walk away from the most serious charge .That's what it boils down , go and spout your legal jargon which you probably picked up watching Judge Judy to someone with time to waste....

She's out of the prison?? I hope somebody will take care of it...
A few years ago two brothers in Poland killed the man who was terrorizing their village. He was in and out of prison, running on the streets with a knife etc. Those brothers finally said stop and beat him to death. They could spend years in prison. Thankfully, our president acquitted both of them.
