Has anyone else heard of this hadith? I saw it elsewhere on a forum and i seem to remember having heard it..

When the Prophet Muhammad [saw] was taken on a trip to the heavens during his life on earth, he saw many planets and in them were people; due to this a thought occured to his heart that as there are many other planets with people in them, maybe Allah has sent greater and more beloved Messengers to those people so Muhammad [saw] may not be the most beloved of Allah after all; Allah told him...; "oh Muhammad [saw], put your ear to those planets and see what the people are saying"; the Prophet [saw] did this and he heard them saying HIS [the Prophet Muhammad's 'saw'] name and praising it [i.e sending salutations upon him, etc,...] and then he was sure that he was the most beloved to ALlah in all of the universe

Maybe the aliens were praising the Flying Spaghetti Monster in their native tongue but Allah mis-translated for the benefit of Mo so that his fragile ego wouldn't get bruised.

there's no source, i read it on a forum where they were talking about aliens and islam, and i remember having heard this hadith before as well.. someone might be able to offer a source

That reminds me of the hadith where muhammed saved middle earth from saran by throwing the ring in the volcano....
